Hotels

The participants are themselves responsible for their lodgings during SampTA'99. However, the following hotels will offer discount to the persons that specify that they are participants at SampTA'99. Also make sure to specify first and second priorities regarding which hotel to stay at.

The prices include a full pension, that is breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is however, an additional NKR 120,- for lunch the day of arrival.

  • Hotel Alexandra. This hotel hosted the 1996 IEEE Digital Signal Processing Workshop, and some facts and experiences gathered from that event can be found here. The prices including the discount are:

    • Single room: NKR 1150,- per night.
    Double room: NKR 895,- per person, per night.

  • Hotel Loenfjord. This hotel is the one closest to Hotel Alexandra. The prices including the discount are:

    • Single room: NKR 995,- per night.
    Double room: NKR 750,- per person, per night.

    The following lodgings do not offer a discount, but may be of interest anyhow:

  • Loen Hotel. The prices are: Single room: NKR 575,- per night.

    • Double room: NKR 415,- per person, per night.
    Note that this includes breakfast only. It is possible to have the meals at Hotel Alexandra for the following prices:
    Lunch and two coffebreaks: NKR 250,- per person, per day.
    Dinner: NKR 315,- per person, per day.

  • The Loen Guesthouse. Only double rooms are available at a price of NKR 390,- a day. There is no meals included here so in addition to the meals mentioned above it is possible to buy breakfast at the Hotel Alexandra for NKR 80,- per person, per day.

    It is possible to have cheaper accomodation in Loen:

    Euro Loen Hotel , Double room: 745, single room: 650 (Breakfast included)
    Loen Gjestehus and Loen Pensjonat:  300 - 340 pr. night including breakfast.
