Convergence of explicit finite volume schemes for Friedrichs Systems
J.P. Vila and P. Villedieu
Abstract:
In this paper we study the convergence of of explicit Finite Volume schemes for
general multidimensional Friedrichs systems. By generalizing a previous result
of Kuznetsov for Finite Difference schemes applied to scalar conservation
laws, we obtain under general assumptions error bounds in h^(1/8). when the
initial data lies in H^s(R^d) for s large enough. Convergence follows for
initial data in L^2(R^d).
