Meeting 13th April

Executive Summary

Each of the Phd students shared their view of the development process and key issues needing attention. A tentative time schedule was presented and this was discussed by the participants.

Detailed description

Issues relating to development of various parts
Sub task Presented by Issues needing attention
Turbulence modelling Jens Validation of models. Implementing some simple ones.
Software design Roxana Understanding the physical problem better.
Solution algorithm Runar Stability of existing methods. Efficient ways of solving discrete system. Parallelisation.
EE and adaptivity Hallgeir Adaptivity wrt. energy norm (hopefully force), grid static in time.
Visualisation Zoran Which features are needed. Better understanding of physical problem.
Software integration Bård Modularisation, interfaces, file formats.
