INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHORS

FINAL SUBMISSION AND PREPARING PAPERS IN PROCEEDINGS FORMAT

The following information is essential for preparing your final submission. Please follow them carefully.

STYLE REQUIREMENT
Each submission should be maximum 4 pages, and prepared using the MMR 2002 style described in our style guide (available in pdf or postscript format). Style files for Microsoft Word and LaTeX have been generated:

Stylefiles for LaTeX:

• mmr.sty: The stylefile setting up paper size etc.
• chicago.sty and chicago.bst: Setting up the bibliography.
• sample.tex: A sample paper using the LaTeX stylefile.
• sample.ps and sample.pdf: The compiled versions of the sample file.

Stylefile for Microsoft Word:
Download sample.doc, a sample text formatted in Microsoft Word describing the MMR paper format with the correctly formatted paper size, headings, etc.

SUBMISSION
Papers are to be submitted on A4-formatted paper to:

If you would like to make your paper available from our web-site before the conference, please include a MS-DOS formatted disk with your paper in pdf or ps format.

Alternatively, electronic submission can be used. In this case, a pdf or postscript formatted file should be emailed to mmr2002@math.ntnu.no. Note, however, that when electronic submission is employed, problems with font substitutions may occur (that is, mathematical symbols may look differently or be changed on the print-out made by our publisher when compared to what was generated on other computers). This problem is particularly common for Microsoft Word files. The MMR organisation committee can not take any responsibility in proof-reading the print-out used by the publisher.
