- As of today (June 20) there are no reported probable cases of
SARS in Norway. Updated cumulative numbers can be found
on the web pages of the World Health Organisation.
- The state of preparation in Norwegian airports and other entry
points is considered very good. The SciCADE organisers are in
regular contact with the Norwegian health authorities
as well as the local (NTNU) health offices regarding SARS.
- There are currently no registered participants to SciCADE'03 who
are based in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan or Singapore, the areas most effected
by SARS so far. (Those from China who were earlier in the list of
participants have all withdrawn out of consideration
for the other SciCADE participants).
