Photos from the Research Symposium in Geometric integration December 10-16, 2000 + holiday trip afterwards.

The trip started with a 10 hours delay in Bangkok, we got a hotel room to rest in.
John Butcher and Reinout Quispel before the excursion to Phillip Island.
We had a wonderful walk along the coast near Phillip Island ...
... where there were more flies than we've ever seen
Ben Leimkuhler and Ander Murua.
Elena with flies.
Further down the coast, Mark Sofroniou took the picture.
Njål, Sondre and Tone Munthe-Kaas, Giulia Spaletta, Mark Sofroniou and Elena.
Jialin Hong and Haruo Yoshida.
At dusk, we were taken to a place where we could watch the penguins.
Then our holiday trip started, this is Anglesea,
... where one can visit the golf course and ...
... where wild kangaroos can be found.
We took perhaps too many pictures before we found ....
one that was not so shy.
We moved on to Apollo Beach.
Near Port Campbell there used to be 12 apostles, ...
... but some of them have fallen into the sea.
There are several spectacular sights between Port Campbell and Peterborough, ...
... first the Arch ....
... then London bridge ...
and finally the "grotto".
