BeMatA Project
Computational Methods for Stratified Flows Involving Internal Waves

The aim of this project is to develop new mathematical and numerical models to improve the understanding and computational modelling of stratified flow involving internal waves.

In particular to develop new mathematical and numerical methods to achieve a better understanding and a better computational modelling of the dynamical behaviour of the upper mixed layer in coastal waters and fjords.

The project is funded by the Norwegian Research Council under the program BeMatA. See also here.
