Abstract: We show how weak equivalences in categories enriched in spectra may be inverted in a homotopy-acceptable sense, and hence how to define the homotopy category only dependent upon a choice of weak equivalences. Along the way, a cofibrantly generated closed simplicial model category structure on the category of these enriched categories is displayed.
