The Enchanted Forest
In the Enchanted Forest you can find many examples of curious knots and links, many with Brunnian characteristics.
Many of the pictures were generated using the TikZ graphical system for TeX. The latest version of this can be downloaded from http://www.texample.net; these pictures work with the version dated 2010-07-25. There is a style file, brunnian.sty, which contains the base code needed to generate these pictures.
Other pictures were generated by knotplot. A perl program, brunnian.pl, generates output that can be loaded in to knotplot.

Welcome to the Enchanted Forest
Welcome to the Enchanted Forest. The pictures displayed here were originally designed for the papers by Nils Baas:
- On Many Body System Interactions (arXiv:1012.2705)
- New States of Matter Suggested by New Topological Structures (arXiv:1012.2698)

Hybrid Links
The hybrids are a strange mixture of creatures. Some are formed by varying the types of connections: both Brunnian and Hopfian appear in the same links. Some are formed by mixing structures of different levels.

Deformations
Growing in the Enchanted Forest, many of the links and rings undergo strange and unusual deformations. Here, we document some of the more common occurences.

Brunnian Surfaces
In the Enchanted Forest, even the solid objects are made out of links. The enchantment of the forest means that they will fall apart if a single component is broken.

Knots
Not all of the sights in the Enchanted Forest are links, some are knots.
