The scope of this preprint server is papers on new and recent results concerning conservation laws (in the sense of partial differential equations on conservation form) and related equations. The main focus is on mathematical analysis and numerical methods, but papers concerning applications are also welcome, as are papers on commonly used tools in the field. Please help improve the quality of this service by submitting relevant preprints. Thank you!
The XVIth International Conference on Hyperbolic Problems: Theory, Numerics, Applications (Hyp2016) will be held in Aachen, Germany August 1–5 2016.
We maintain an Atom feed containing the most recent couple of dozen abstracts at any time. This is the most convenient way to learn about new papers, at least if you already use other RSS or Atom feeds. Please let us know if the feed gives you any trouble.
Also, a redesign of the site is ongoing. The redesign will spread slowly (extremely slowly as it turns out – slower than molasses on the North Pole in January) from the latest preprints to the main index pages. Older preprint pages will have their design changed if and when we manage to automate the task: It is too big to do by hand.
Submitters will be pleased to learn that we are taking steps to obscure email addresses in the new preprint pages. Compare the pages with and without javascript turned on, or just look at the source code of the pages, to see how. The main downside is that email addresses are harder to read, even for humans, if javascript is turned off in your browser.
