Information about the midsemester test

1. We shall have two differents dates for the midsemester test:
March, 9, 15:15, Room R2
and
March, 30, 17:15, Room R2

2. The sets of problems at these days will be (of course) different
but about the same level of difficulty.

3. You need not get enlisted in advance;
the studends can come at any of these days, but only once.

4. In the case I'll get two tests with the same student number,
the LOWEST grade will be taken into account.

5. Additional details and/or possible changes will appear on this page later on.
Please, visit this page at the end of Febraury in order not to miss them !

6. PENSUM of the test includes all the material which was lectured before
the midsemester brake. This means all material up to section 11.5 (this section is included).
In addition you may get problems related to complex numbers
similar to those you had in Math 3.

7. You can find the information sheet of the test here
(pdf-format, in Norwegian). Make sure you have read this sheet
thoroughly before you take the test.

8. You are allowed to use:
--- enkelt calculator;
--- K. Rotmann, Matematisk Formelsamling;
--- E.Kreyszig, Advanced ...

Please take into account that we shall have just 8 problems
and the test will last 60 min.

10. BRING BLUE or BLACK PEN !!
Pencils are forbidden !!

11. FASIT, GRADING, COMMENTS, etc.
All information will be released after the second test only,
i.e. soon after March, 30.
