Accommodation: you will be staying at Scandic Lerkendal which is near campus. It is a 10–15 min walk from the hotel to Sentralbygg 2, where the workshop will be held.
Getting from the airport to the hotel: The easiest way to get to the hotel from Værnes Airport is to take the Værnes Ekspressen. It costs 129 NOK (about 13.5€) one way if booked online, 170 NOK (about 17.5€) if you buy the ticket on the bus. This service stops at Scandic Lerkendal. The airport is quite small; to get to the correct bus stop you need to exit through the door nearest to Starbucks, it should be the first on your left when exiting the baggage claim area.
Moving around the city: The hotel is located a bit outside the city centre. If you want to walk around downtown, you can either walk there (around 30 minutes) or take a bus. The best way to pay for bus tickets is to download the "AtB Mobillett" app (Android , iOS) on your phone. Single tickets are 38 NOK (4€) if bought on the app, 60 NOK (6€) if bought directly on the bus. You can also buy a 24h pass for 114 NOK (12€) or a weekly pass for 266 NOK (27.5€).
