Source Waves

Alain-Yves LeRoux and Marie-Noelle LeRoux

Abstract: We propose a new concept of waves for hyperbolic systems with a source term and detail some examples arising in environment science, such as tidal bore waves, surf waves, roll waves, cyclones and hurricanes, and also other applications. These waves behave as solutions of homogeneous linear hyperbolic systems though they satisfy to non linear and non homogeneous systems.
